This is THE place to go to for a perfect pulled pork sandwich. I affectionately call it 'the pink pig' because of the little statue they have always had in front of the establishment. DELICIOUS!!

Food was amazing barbecue sauce was a bit different not bad not good just a little bit different. Huge portions no way to finish in one sitting.

I know quite a few people that think this is one of the top places for BBQ in KC. Unfortunately, my experience there was not great. The meat was dry.

We all had the pork bbq sandwich. The meat had a wonderful Smokey flavor. I loved the fresh cucumber salad I had and my son's Mac and cheese was delish! My husband said his french fries were really good as well. I enjoyed the hometown feel of the restaurant. The staff were all so friendly. So glad that we stopped by!

Danny Edwards Boulevard BBQ would be world famous if it were open more than 20 hours a week. Best beef in town, hands down.

The people were so nice and so sweet! The atmosphere was peaceful but yet I really got the BBQ vibe. I was just disappointed in the burnt ends. I got the low carb special with 3 meats and I tripled up on burnt ends.. I got my daughter the ribs and they were delicious!! Next time I'll just get the ribs instead.

Not a fan of this place. I ordered pulled pork and sliced turkey sandwich with a side of baked beans. Pulled pork was super dry you need to follow it up with a gulp of your drink. It’s shredded a little too tiny. The turkey is alright. Baked beans is mediocre. For the same price or add a couple of $ more you will get a way better bbq meal. Restroom is not the cleanest. Cleaning equipments are stored in there like the mop caddy.

If you love BBQ then you must visit Danny Edwards. The Burnt Ends plate was excellent and filling. The staff was friendly and polite. To start, you order at the counter, pay, and find a table to sit at. The staff will bring you your food, which does not take long. Then be prepared for some perfectly prepared BBQ. My wife had the Diet Lite 3 meat plate. I do not recommend it as it is not representative of true BBQ. She enjoyed it but thought the turkey was a little dry. She also enjoyed my sweet potato fries and burnt ends. Parking is tight but available.

I had the Big D sandwich. The meat was SO tender and overall the sandwich was amazing. The rye bread is a nice touch, for sure. The sauce here isn't as sweet as a lot of KC sauces and has an interesting underlying chili flavor. Really good and certainly stands out. The non-spicy beans were also pretty good. Four stars out of five because the fries aren't good. They sell the skin-on kind and mine were covered in black eyes which were very unappetizing and tasted bad.

Excellent service, and great ribs the sauce has a tangy flavor that fits perfectly with their seasoning.

Beef from the point was fantastic. Sauce pretty good. My friends loved the ribs. Will be going back!

Had the Triple D recommended Big D sandwich... It was AWESOME! The brisket melted in my mouth... Kids had turkey sandwiches and they were just as good! What makes great food even better? Great service...and they have that as well! Great crew there!

Absolutely amazing!!! Of course I got the Big D's! And a side of beans. Brilliant! I am not a huge eye bread fan, but I guess I am now! Crunchy from the onion rings, tender beef, tangy sauce with a kick, and that hint of the swiss cheese is very complementary. And the beans! Oh yes. They nailed the classic smoky beans. The chunks of meat and zesty flavor was very satisfying. Their BBQ sauce at the table was warmed up, which was awesome, but caught me off guard, cause most places are cold or room temp. Has a kick, smoky, and a tad sweetness in the background. Very good sauce! And above all, the staff are amazing! Pleasant environment! Definitely a must and I see why it was featured on Food Network!

Always exceptional! The Big D Sandwich made from the tip of the brisket is tender and delicious. Also when available, try the chilli.

Had the Big D. If you haven't tried it you should. This is the best BBQ sandwich I have had since moving to KC. I will definitely be back.

Best BBQ in the city!!! Always tender and juicy. The meats stand alone but the sauce compliments it all. Smoky, spicy, sweet and delicious! I go out of my way for these eats. Staff is always accommodating and friendly. Restaurant is always clean.

Danny Edward's BBQ is a cool little restaurant, and knows how to prepare some pork shoulder! We stopped here while on a tour of barbecue places in KC. While here we sampled pork shoulder and potato salad. Both were very, very good! His seasoning flavor was very good, so good that I bought a bottle. The potato salad was the best I have had in a long time. I would definately stop back for a full sit down plate of meats and sides.

Mac N Cheese was Delicious (Super Cheesy) Side is a Small Portion. Ribs were Good (Joe’s & Q39 are better). Brisket was Average. Maybe they had a bad batch on Burnt Ends (Disappointed). Tangy Sauce. Overall Good place just not the best!

Great place to buy food when in a rush. Their service is rapid, pricing is convenient, fantastic mood. I highly recommend this spot.

This is surely one of the most attractive restaurants in the neighborhood. Anytime I go there I am so satisfied. They hold their very high standard service and the highest level of dishes they offer. You surely will enjoy this this place. Highly recommended.

Best BBQ sandwich in KC. The beef is 1/2” thick and you can cut it with a fork. Also has fresh cut fries. A+++

Tried it for the first time this week. Flavorful and tender brisket, served in a building that has been repurposed to a classic BBQ joint. Worth a try if you're on SW Boulevard and looking for a place to have a meal.

My favorite BBQ in the world. Yes, the world! I’ve tasted hundreds of BBQ restaurants and this place, Danny Edwards, is the best tasting BBQ (in my opinion). Please try it for yourself, family owned, very clean and fresh made delicious choices. Everyone I have brought here has fallen in love with the food, and enjoyed that the staff “serve” you like family. My favorite are the burnt ends and sweet potato fries.
